West Third Street (west of Farmer's Market) is rapidly becoming a very trendy neighborhood, and InStyle magazine reports that the stars are flocking to a little shop called Illume, which sells unique candles, candleholders, scented tapers, gift baskets, snuffers. wick trimmers, and body products.
Apparently, the shop was "discovered" by actress Melanie Griffith ("Working Girl"), who bought 120 of their gift baskets, a big-selling item that was also ordered in quantity by Titanic director James Cameron.


Other stars dropping by Illume include Barbra Streisand and James Brolin, Demi Moore ("G.I. Jane"), Drew Barrymore ("The Wedding Singer"), Cuba Gooding Jr. ("Jerry Maguire"), Anthony Edwards ("ER"), Laurence Fishburne ("Hoodlum"), Alanis Morissette ("Uninvited"), rocker Courtney Love, and Kriston Johnston ("Third Rock From the Sun").

 Getting there: Illume is located on the south side of west Third Street, at Sweetzer Avenue, between Fairfax (on the east) and La Cienega (on the west). From Farmer's Market, just take Third Street eight blocks west.
